Become a Senior Trainer / Associate Trainer

You will be required to attend our full 3 day course to determine suitability prior to being offered a place on the Train the Trainer (TTT)

This is a combination of class room learning and practical assessment sessions over a 5 day period on top of the initial 3 day course which MUST be completed within one month of the Train the Trainer (TTT) course
​You will be required to attend all the training days and complete a portfolio to be able to deliver the
MMVA Conflict Resolution & Physical Intervention Training - 3 day course

Candidates should have:

• at least 2 years working in a service where they have been involved in management of "Behaviours that Challenge"
• they should possess or be working towards an adult education and teaching qualification (EAT)
• hold a suitable first aid qualification (including emergency first aid, resuscitation and the use of an AED).
• delivery of conflict management training (preferred)

Our course is designed to ensure the Trainer gains sufficient knowledge to fulfil the role. In order to support we offer:

• Direct point of contact to the instructors who deliver the TTT package
• At least 1 inclusive annual site visit to observe training with feedback
• The opportunity to return free of charge to enhance their skillset
• Annual refresher/licence renewal

Certification will be issued as PDF files to the organisation for each person successfully completing the course

Successful candidates become Associate Trainers and their employers Affiliate Organisations.
