An introduction to Positive Behaviour Support
Learning Outcome: By the end of this one-day course, participants will have a thorough understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and strategies, enabling them to effectively manage and support individuals with challenging behaviours in school and care settings. Assessment: Participants will be assessed through group discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to ensure their understanding of PBS principles and their ability to apply these principles in real-world scenarios. Course Conclusion: Upon completing this one-day course, participants will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to implement Positive Behavior Support effectively in school and care settings. They will be better equipped to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for individuals with challenging behaviours while adhering to legal and ethical standards. |
